1. How this tool handles your files

PDF Merger processes all files entirely within your browser. When you select or drag PDF files onto this page, they are read by JavaScript running locally on your device and merged using the open-source pdf-lib library. The resulting file is then written directly to your device.

Your files are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any server. We operate no file-storage infrastructure, and no copy of your documents — original or merged — exists outside your own device at any point during or after use of this tool.

2. Cookies and accounts

This tool does not require an account and does not set any cookies related to your files or your use of the merge feature. We do not track the names, contents, sizes, or any other attributes of the files you process.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies, web beacons, and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
